The rise of technology

Recently the world was taken by surprise with the release of "Deep Nostaglia", an AI software extending the capability of the technology used to power the infamous "Deep fakes" by breathing life into pictures of loved ones and making a short video with the result. A lot of people predict that we're in another bubble similar to the dotcom bubble that propped the tech industry decades ago, I dare say that these people are very far off the mark.

While most software can't be touched as they're immaterial, their effect remains undebatable, there are many who never got to meet their parents, grandparents, loved ones. To have a product literally turn back the hands of time, to have a video of your grandparents in their youth, to have them look at you like they can actually see you is nothing short of majestic, a testament to the infinite power of human innovation. You can't put a price on the visceral emotions that have been evoked by Deep Nostalgia. We're not in a tech bubble, we're in too deep to consider this a bubble.

With virtual reality, augmented reality and mixed reality, science will begin to stretch the limits of what is possible as immersive experiences will transcend from just a shiny catchphrase into a self defining reality. Those using the smartphone market to characterize the tech industry are in for a rude awakening.
